Aft'noon

Afternoon all,

I'm just here to ask some questions really, the C-Max in question is actually my wife's, it's a 58 plate 1600 Style in blue and is about to have a Parrot MKi9200 installed once I can work out how to get it to peices. Nice bit of kit, I was pleasantly suprised by the ride and "get-up-and-go" it has.

It's not as nice, IMO, as my old 58 plate Fiesta 1600 Zetec S though, nor as nice as the 60 plate Fiesta 1600 Titanium I pick up on Wenesday

Do notice that due to oveall gearing it is a little thirsty at motorway speed

Fuel consumption (urban) 36.2 mpg
Fuel consumption (extra urban) 62.8 mpg
Fuel consumption (combined) 48.7 mpg

Not bad figures for a petrol if you ask me.

Unless it's the Cmax sorry which is.........

Fuel consumption (urban) 31.7 mpg
Fuel consumption (extra urban) 53.3 mpg
Fuel consumption (combined) 42.8 mpg

I've not got the Titanium yet so I can't say, but the average MPG on my current Zetec S TDCI is 58.3, but that takes a hammering on the motorway as the turbo is always running.

The C-Max average is around 37.5, which doesn't seem too bad for large car.

I fitted the Parrot Ck3000 into mine - only needed to pop the stereo out which allowed enough space to push the control unit in and down below where the stereo sits (this was on a 54 plate model) and bring wiring out in other places - few scratches on the hands tho!
