Advice regarding space saver wheel (C-Max 2013 UK)
Hi folks, I am new to this site, new to Fords and very new to C-max.
I just bought a used 2013 C-Max Titanium 1.6 Diesel UK spec. The car from new must have been supplied with a space saver wheel kit but this has at some point been removed and replaced with a puncture repair kit. I know the car must have had a spare wheel because the person who removed the wheel left the expanded foam boot kit that lifts the carpet to the right hight (happy times).
1) I prefer to have a space saver wheel though and I purchased a second hand one including tools for a well known online auction site. However, I am a bit concerned about the jack supplied to me. It has the following markings '6M51-17080-AB' which leads me to believe that it may not be suitable for my C-Max. Any advice on that issue will be greatly appreciated. (I have uploaded a profile of the jack showing the lift plate that lifts the car in case that helps).
2) My car has alloys and the space saver wheel is steel. Question: Will my existing bolts that hold the alloys be suitable for the spare wheel or will I need to buy steel bolts for the space saver wheel. If yes, does any one have wither the size of the bolts or the Ford part number?
Thanks in advance.
