Evening all,

Hope someone can help me out here, Basically,

I took delivery of my new C max last Wednesday and the car itself is fantastic, However, Friday evening I got into the car with my wife and noticed the passenger side wing mirror was facing outwards, I got out and put it back in the correct position and noticed that some crazy fool had took it upon himself to use his fist (or something else) to smash it.
Upon inspecting the car I noticed that my centre caps had also been stolen from the car leaving a nice (possibly screwdriver) scratch on each of the alloys.
I went to Ford this morning and have replaced the 4 centrecaps (approx 11) and ordered a new wing mirror (passenger side (21). The new mirror I have to pick up tomorrow but they also want an additional 48 for fitting.
What I want to know is how hard are they to fit? Is it a simple pop out/pop in job? The mirror comes with the backplate and is a heated version but they are not electric. I did look for a haynes manual but have been told it is not available yet. I'm no mechanic but willing to have a go myself if it is simple enough.
Sorry to keep the post so long but any help would be really appreciated,
Thanks in advance

Simon

Hi the heated mirror only has two wires and they clip into place. It is fairly easy to do but sometimes can be "fiddly" to get it clipped in securely.........

Hope this helps.
