vibration on steering wheel
Hi everyone I’m new to the forum and new to owning a C-max.
I have just bought a C-Max from a local dealer apart from the lies and BS from the sales man and the advert on their website; I have some issues with the car?
It’s a 2017 1.5 diesel Zetec model with less than 12,000 miles.
The first problem was/is the noise from the tyres, on reporting the noise and after they road tested it the master techs answer was “I can only hear road noise, there is nothing wrong, the only way to cure it is to replace the tyres! If nothing is wrong why would replacing the tyres cure it?? Yes in my opinion the tyres are faulty.
The second problem is at around 1250-1500 rpm I’m getting a vibration on the steering wheel, gearstick and the pedals, This is not down to labouring the engine as I can replicate it by dipping the clutch and bringing the rpm up. The dealer had the car for a week and told me the car drove as expected for a car of that age and mileage.
Has anyone come across this sort of vibration??
Thanks
