Hi there,
i have just bought a three year old CMax and within a week or purchase I had to return it due to a leak from the air-con and a ticking noise when the engine was cold. The leak has been repaired but Fords can't find the ticking noise. It is only when cold and lasts only fortwenty to thirty seconds, but it is very loud and i'm worried that something is wrong. I think that the problem might be with the air-con, is there a way to turn it off, so that all I have is the blowers. I know that you can turn of the air-con but this turns off the blowers as well. I tried it from cold this morning with the air-con off and there was no noise, but turning it on caused a very low ticking noise, so I feel that maybe Fords have fixed the problem without knowing it. Has anybody got any views on ths?
