first problem with my c max - doesn't sound too bad but i've only had it just under three months.

stability control light stays on after ignition! has any one else had this problem and is it covered under warranty? don't fancy paying out for it to be fixed if i don't have to.

all help much appreciated

Have you altered any computer settings? You may have inadvertently switched it off.

Button on the dash by heated rear windows controls ESP on my car and it should reset to the default ( ESPactivated on) when car is stopped and restarted.
Take it back under warranty.

Just to confirm you mean the light by the dials?
You're saying it turns on when you start the car and refuses to go out?

yeah the one in the dials, not altered any settings - you have to go into the menu on the trip computer thingy to turn it on and off tried that first just to check.

Yup, sounds faulty.
Any work done recently on it? If not then dealership to get it fixed on the warranty.

Not had any work done that i'm aware of, gonna get hold of the local dealer tomorrow. Never had any dealings with them before other than to buy mats from them a few months ago.

Fingers crossed that they are reputable and not fob off merchants!
