Hi - I'm new to the Club and am interested in the replies re sound deadening in the boot. What do members suggest for material and where can I get it? I am also disappointed with Haynes for not publishing a workshop manual for the C max - why not? - does anyone know?

As to the Haynes manual it's the old story I believe of not enough customers who'd want to do their own. Especially when a lot of Max's were on motabillity to start with

Welcome!
What part of the boot are you wanting to sound deaden?
I would think an auto trim suppliersare your best best for materials.
In the olden days you used to be able to buy bitumen self adhesive pads to stick on metal panels to stop drumming and thick felt to put under carpets.
