Have recently bought a garmin sat nav but window suction mount likes to keep falling off windscreen. Has anyone got any helpful suggestions to overcome this. Going on a long jouney soon and don't want to have to keep stopping to remount it.

Moved to main message centre.
On a side note, Have you tried making the suction cup slighty damp by dipping your finger in water and smearing the water around the suction cup? Works for me!

If you have a Garmin Sat Nav, then you can buy a dash top base.
Just clip the Sat Nav to the base unit, and sit it on the dash wherever convenient.
It hasanti-slip pads on the bottom, which work brilliantly, meaning it does not slide off.

Halfords stock them, they're about 20, and completely remove the need to stick the Sat Nav to the window. No more struggling toactually reach the screen in a Cmax, and no more sticky marks.

Hope that helps.
