Hi<div id="isChromeWebToolbarDiv" style="display:n&#111;ne">
Does anyone know if they made a rigid parcel shelf for the Focus C-Max?
Mine is a 56 plate and has one of those semi rigid parcel shelves that you roll up. You aren't supposed to put anything on top of it, which is not good, when doing the weekly shop. My previous car (Scenic) had a more rigid shelf which is great for crisps, bread etc.
Not sure if mine could be modified or not, but currently it's only use seems to be to hide whatever is in the boot.
Any help, much appreciated.

My 2004 C-Max has a semi rigid parcel shelf, but it did start to sag in the middle. I attached a piece of dowel to the underside with gaffer tape to give it a bit more backbone.

The roll out version may have been an optional accessory on later models?

I know on an older vehicle with the cardboard shelf I used fibreglass matt stuck to the underside to repair a saggy middle

MUCH cheaper than liposuction or joining Weight Watchers I suppose!

Ours has got the "traditional, fuzzy felt, fitted as standardsince the 80s" rigid one that hinges in the middle too. Would prefer the tonneau cover to be honest (the posh name for the roll-up one), but can't find ANY on the Bay of E, & can't even find a single C-Max in a breakers yard ANYWHERE!!!
(does that mean that C-Maxes are accident-proof??? OR that we ARE driving gods??? )
