My gcm has reversing sensors and is integrated into the centre display and audio system, so retro fitting that tech would be difficult I'd say.
You can easily fit the more traditional sensors and control box type to any vehicle as they take power from the reverse lamp circuit and beep when any of the sensors are close to an object. You can get these kits on eBay for about £20 and can be fitted in about an hour but usually involve drilling holes somewhere on the bumper.
I did this on my old Mk2.5 focus and the bumper had hole markings on the reverse side to aid drilling accurately. The mk2.5 focus also had a reverse module power feed wire wrapped up in the rear loom ready for the option.
I bet the cmax has both of these 'features' that will help you install a 3rd party module.
I say 'you', but a Ford dealership would do exactly this on a retro fit I reckon.
