Hi all,
Apologies if I have missed a relevant thread on the search, and if so, please point me to it to avoid duplicating and wasting time.
I have a 2013 Grand C-Max Titanium with the keyless starting system (proximity key?). A few weeks ago, the key fob stopped being able to remotely unlock/lock the doors (or boot). So I have to unpack the key blade every time, which is a major PITA.
Once in the car, however, I can still start it as normal (i.e. without having to put the fob into the hole in the steering column where a keyhole would normally be.)
I've replaced the battery, but to no avail. I tried the spare key fob, but the same happens. It can't remotely unlock/lock the doors either, but once in the car, I can push the start button and drive away as normal.
Any ideas...?
Cheers,
Pet
