although this needs a blanking plate - any ideas besides the obvious MD where to get one,

alsoi wantto put an ipod lead into either the glove compartment or the handbrake/middle console- any suggestions on this please

and lastly im looking for a rubber boot matt fitted shape, to keep the rugby boots off the carpet - any suggestions of where to get one - please

Can't help with any if the earlier stuff, but I picked up a fitted boot floor cover of Flea Bay for about 28 a while back. It's a plastic material with a rubberised non slip centre patch. Waterproof, mid proof etc. Really good bit of kit. I also bought a rear bumper protector that extends the grey plastic protector section over the edge of the bumper. It was 45 ish pounds. Really good investment, especially if you move big awkward boxes about, or a bog baby buggy etc.

same here, boot cover looks a good investment.

bought of ebay, fits the car nicely, doesnt look quite OEM but does the job.

first time i put the baby buggy in the wheels were covered in mud!

the thought that i can whip the liner out and hose the thing down is a real bonus.

would be interested in answers re stereo. i find the stereo performance a bit lacking in my 07 style

I have looked into this in depth. I am changing the stereo in mine (once the car arrives) for a single DIN Sony head unit.

There are various places on Ebay who will do a complete kit (removal tools, wiring harness, facia plate adaptor and steering wheel control adaptor for 40.00

Sony is a good choice as you seem to get more toys on these units and the sound quality is excellent. Just be careful of the bass setting to start with.....

The one I have is bluetooth, usb compatible plus has an input jack for a headphone input. The usb port will charge any usb based phone as well!

04 plate Ink Blue 1.8 Duratec Ghia. Mods so far, club sticker on rear window and stereo upgrade, 4Q sticker on bootlid and Smurf hanging from rear bumper.

More mods to come as i\'m allowed to.

The original owner of mine saw fit the check the options box for the Sony upgrade. I fully intended swapping most of the stereo stuff from the previous car into the max, but it really doesn't need it. Loads of base and really clear sound from whatever was fitted from the factory.
