Hi guys, need a bit of advice on cleaning my cmax, I've always used washing up liquid on previous cars but sum one told me it was corrosive to the paint. Is this true?
Should there be a specific type of cleaning fluid I should be using?
Plus, will waxing the cmax keep it cleaner for longer, can anyone recommend a decent product.

All tips will be greatly recieved, hate driving in a dirty motor!

Washing up liquid is not corrosive, but it does instantly remove all wax that you have applied.I always use auto glym on mine & always get great results.Waxing won`t keep it cleaner longer but it will make it easier to clean each time.MM

Hello there, avoid the washing up liquid because it contains salt, and lots of it. This tends to find it's way into any scratch and rust up pretty quick. If you aren't too keen on regular cleaning, give it a good clean and shammy, then wax it with any easy use wax, and spray your alloys with a brake dust protector or wheel sealer, that way, next time grim will come off with ease.
