i have 08 cmax 2.0 petrol , and have noticed a noise , i can best describe as a "thrumming",noise from front nearside wheel , such as a dented wheel might make, but steering is perfect and no vibration at steering wheel.?

does the noise change with road speed or steering angle
Perhaps check both the gaiters for the steering CV joints haven't got a split in them and
Have you checked for any rust / dirt on the edges of brake pads / disc

Does the noise increase/decrease when cornering?Maybe the wheel bearing is at fault.

Or distorted/feathered Tyre?Run your hand across both the inner and outer edges of the Tyres, then run it in the opposite direction, if one way feels nearly smooth but the other feels like your hand is catching the tread, this can cause a noise similar to that described.
