Hi folkes my 07 c-max is due to go in for its first MOT but heres the biggy my car has been sitting for seven months and other than a new battery it started first time my question is, is there anything that i should look out for in the MOT it has 29k on the clock. thanks

Welcome.
If possible get it in for MOT before the manufacturers warranty expires - have it done at a Ford dealership- that way most MOTable things will be a warranty claim.
Just check all the lights work , washers / wipers are serviceableand that the tyres are legal.
As it has been standing give it a good run before you get it done so that all the crud is out of it before the emissions are checked.

sorry to be a pest but how do i find out if its still undermanufacturers warrantythanks for your help on last post ive never put a car through an mot always get shot off befofe it comes round

The warranty is for three years from the date of first registration.

"most MOTable things will be a warranty claim" not too sure I agree with that. I'd have thought most things things to fail would be wear and tear (tyres and bulbs for example) and so not covered?

I was thinking of things like suspension bushes, steering components etc..
