Hi there.
Just had my 57 plate c max back from its 1st service and joy of joys the front tyres are nearly ready for changing...12500 miles very poor tyre life!
Problem is that the car didnt come with a locking wheel nut remover.
Any advice please?
Regards
Richard.

Do you know which brand of locking nuts they are by chance because otherwise it may well have to be a cold chisel and scrap your nuts

I've just had the same problem with my 1.6TDCi - no locking wheel nut key. I called the garage I got it from 2 months ago, and they swear blind it was in the centre console when I bought it, but I've checked everywhere. I guess it's my word against their's. So I've had to fork out for a new set of locking nuts (35 from Halfords), and the garage had to weld nuts to the locking nuts to be able to take the old ones off... cost about two hours of labour, but what can you do when both front tyres are borderline illegal?
I'm keeping the new locking key safe though!
