When I switch off the engine I get prompted , Internal Scan Yes or No. What's that all about? Thanks, Paul.

Just a guess, I'm thinking internal alarm sensors on or off. Most cars have the option to switch them on or off. On generation 1 C-Maxs its either one plip on the key for just door locks, or two plips for deadlocks and internal alarm sensors.

It is the internal sensors. If you will always want them on you can go into settings then convenience and choose if you want to be asked on exit. You cann't turn it off permanently. If you select reduced in the setting it will revert back to full when you use the car next time. If you may want them off sometimes if it worth leaving it so it asks you on exit.
