Hi C-Max Lovers,
I have a C-Max Zetec 1800 TDCIon a 57 plate with a lot of extras on it and I love it so far, after reading your problems about fittingthe GPS to thefrontwindow screen, found you needed a telescope to see it plus the cable running down the front of the dash,
In the recess on top of the dash is the ideal place to fit a GPS,I managed to buy a box of 3 inch mirror tiles which I removed the silver from the back of them and glued 2 together removing the silver from the back stops the reflection in the screen,I used double sided tape to secure the tile in the recess, the GPS suction bracket really fits well to the tile,to finish the job off I also had a power socket fitted in the dash recess,I am really pleased with the outcome, brilliant view of GPS and no more trailing cable,Chris.

Hi there, when you say recess, I presume you mean the storage area on the top of the dash. I have a cover over mine, does yours not have that, or did you remove it. It's a bit of a waste of time anyway, good for a map, but I have seat pockets for that!!!
Your idea sounds great, you do need very long arms to fit anything on the windscreen, so anything to get it closer without the need of Inspector Gadget's arms is handy.
