I've got a C-Max with the new ford easy fuel system, and whilst cleaning my car today a small amount of soapy water entered the small drain hole underneath the fuel filler nozzle.

Does anyone know where this drain goes? Does it drain into the fuel tank or elsewhere?

I'm concerned I might have contaminated the fuel and will have to get it drained.

Wouldn't worry about it. It's highly likely it just goes on the ground. The filler flap isn't sealed, so any rain getting in there has to go somewhere. Get a bit of thin stiff wire and poke down it if you're unsure. It probably comes out under the wheel arch or somewhere.

I thought that might be the case. Fingers crossed! Thanks for responding.
