If the bonnet is opened using the key when the car doors are locked, it sets off the alarm.
If the car is unlocked and none of the doors are opened fairly soon, the car locks again after about 40 seconds
Also, I have a feeling that the car double-locks after a period of parking even if a single press of the key was used when I locked it.
There may other features not in the manual, experienced by members?

Anothersurprise, this morning - the front and rear screen heaters came on just after I started the engine, presumably in response to the frost indicator and the audible "ping" from the dash panel.
It was a bit frosty - the first one this autumn

I have just found out that our c-max has "follow me home headlamps"... nice feature that... should be useful now the dark nights are back.

Does anyone know if there is a function that when you unlock the car using the remote, the sidelights should come on... the reason i ask, is that i noticed this today on a new fiesta and remember that it was on the fiesta model before this one... hard to believe that it's fitted to fiesta and not c-max.

Depends on the "trim level" and / or if it were a special

The interior lights can be set in 'cinema' mode and will come on when unlocking and dim-to-off a short while after locking. The side and head lights on mine are not automatic (nor wipers) which I think they are on the Titanium version (or an option)

Mine does exactlt the same if you unlock the bonnet without disarming the Car.

I haven't tried the others, but that used to happen to my 52 reg Mondeo, so its probably a ford thing.

Is the Titanium version also equiped with heated washer jets think mine is and they operate when the ice warning switches on the front and rear heated windows at first start up on a cold morning.
