Hi all, I'm now in the market for getting a fault code reader but there seems to be a few out there that will apparently do the job but its knowing which one to go for!! Any members got a particular brand or model they use that they can recommend? Memscan or Autel maxisxan seem to be to names that are mentioned, anybody got any views or opinions on these? Like everyone on here i don't want to be ripped off by FRAUDS!!!!

I bought a cheapo job from EBay for about 20. it's a generic red box job with just two buttons, reads, clears and interprets codes for engine, but not ABS or Airbags. What you need it for?

I just want to be able to read any fault codes logged, codes pending, clear fault codes & reset MIL light, I know there are a few different ones on eBay it was just getting a few views of members who have a code reader and seeing what they recommend!! The AUTEL MS309 is looking favourite at the moment.
