Can I please ask any members that have OBDII readers - the type that give live engine data readouts not only the diagnostic codes - to post their engine load values.
I recently hooked mine up and saw a rather high 30-40% when stationary. I'd like to know if this is to do with the added electrics on mine or inline with other C-Maxs.
Cheers,

Engine load values. Blimey boys, what on earth is that? Not something else to worry about, hopefully.

Cheers Jon.
Romsey it's the load placed on the engine. Less load = less work = longer lifetime + more MPG

Ah, thanks Gepard. So if I leave the wife at home from now on... Less load = less hassle = shorter lifetime = more MPG. Bit of a toss-up, me thinks.

As I've said before a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing especially if taken by itself.
It will to some extent correspond with specific fuel consumption for which the lowest figure would be an interesting comparison in relation to road speed and engine speed
