Im having trouble with my 2.0 tdci c max.It keeps hesitating and mis- firing.Having looked through most review sites this seems to be a common problem.Can anybody tell me the price for a new EGR valve.Hopefully this will cure the problem.

try here as well - Known issues and fixes
I'm not certain that just replacing the EGR valve will fix it

54 Plate 1.6 TDCI LX ~aspiring to be something else

Thanks for the advice.I had a look at the other site and found some good advice.I will ring the ford dealer tomorrow and see what they say.I need to get this sorted as the c max is a cracking car.

I've blocked the EGRoff before, otherwise looking at about 120 to sort if out of warranty.
