I am picking up my C-Max on Monday having prevously had sport type cars. My lab is excited!! Can any one recommend best (cheapest but reliable!) place and style of dog guard and mat for me and my buddy. I want to keep hair off back seats and types I have seen allow doggies to lie against back of back seats. Any help please!!!!!!

Try eBay, I have a dog crate which is too big ( may suit a lab though ;-) ) , has the opening at the side and leaves no room for anything else.
Amazing how much a slightly portly springer can weigh in a crate! ( has to be lifted in with dog in crate ) would like the guard that sits behind seats, Fords own one requires headlining to be cut!!

Halford's do one that attaches to the stems of the rear seat headrests
Otherwise the alternative is a waterproof rear seat cover that attaches around the head rests from the front. Or two are too big for the boot space if they were to try to lie down

First off, a warm welcome to you, just down the M3!!
Been browsing and while I found a dog guard on Ford Direct site, that comes in at over 150.
I then found this (CLICK HERE) in Argos for 19.99

Fully adjustable to provide a barrier between the front and back seats of most estate cars, without any tools.

Made of steel tubing with black powder coating.

Size (H)99-122, (W)30.5cm.

Should add that I'm unsure if this would fit the CMax but it's worth a try.Edited by: lawe

Look at eBay, item number 260539921857. I've ordered one of these - not for its intended use but to adapt to a load cover!

I Have a 30kg Dalmation...

I use this as a dog guard, easy to install and quick to remove... works a treat.

As for mat I use this for the boot.

Both very well priced
