Has anyone considered removing the centre rear seat and replacing it with a storage box of some sort. I know there is a centre box available for those with the fancy rear seats which move back/inwards, etc, but I would be interested to know if anyone has done a custom job.
How do you know if you have the fancy sliding seats? My CMax has every other toy but the dealer didn't mention sliding seats (or the 6disc cd changer I found!)
Lift the lever under the middle seat & lift it up,then sit in one of the other seats,if you are in the drivers side seat put your right hand just below the outer corner, there should be another lever, pull that up & push back & the seat should move in a slight diagonal way towards the middle. On the passenger side do the same but use your left hand.

I specced this flexible seating when I ordered mine new in 2008. To be honest, its not that great in reality. I think I have only ever used it once, but now having 3 kids (with a fourth to come!) it never gets used at all.
