hi folks just drove my cmax for the frst time at night, and can anyone tell me if the cruise controls on the steering wheel should light up many thanks[img]smileys/smiley1.gif[/img]

Nope, you have to use the indents to get an idea so where you are.

I swapped my steering wheel over to a cruise one so I could use the buttons to control my Car PC. It just takes abit of time to get use to it but once you know where they are it becomes second nature.

Agreed - they don't light up on mine. That's the difference between a Ford and a BMW ;-)


BTW I'm not sure that the buttons on the left of the wheel have indents?

that's because they were associated with Rover that also seemed to suffer badly from such problems

I found that the other night on a very dark motorway. I've only had the car a couple of weeks, and it was the first time I'de used the Cruise. Very annoying!!!
