2004 CMax 1.6 LX Clutch full engagement is right up the top of the clutch pedal. Is this indicative of impending problems? at 47000 miles ? Been like this for a year now. Ford mechanic told me not to worry as is a hydraulic mechanism.I find driving quite disconcerting as gear change is pretty notchy (gears always engage ,however) Clutch Slippage not a problem -i i just neverleave my left foot on the pedal unless necessary.Engine revs up if driving with foot resting lightly on the clutch pedal. Is thisNormal?,or would a brake fluidchange and air removed help. Clutch pedal feels firm when pushed downwith my hand-engineoff or idleing. Be vey grateful for advice. [email protected]Many Thanks
