Last week my 1.6tdci lost power, rattled and there was a great cloud of white smoke from the exhaust. The engine revs increased and when I switched the engine off it continued to run. I had to stall the engine to stop it.

When I try to start the engine it won't turn over. The battery is fully charged and the starter motor is ok

Had diagnostic today,
checked faults, found faults p0336 & p1412 :EGR valve. Found oil light to come on when car is warm, checked and found a lot of play in turbo, unfortuantly the car has most likely sucked in oil into engine through turbo [turbo is air related] being faulty the missing in the engine is either conrod bent or melted rings we would need more time to investigate but we feel that this is an unnessery cost and vechicle needs a new engine or rebuild engine.
