I have a central locking problem. First I had to get a new key fob remote direct from ford - 110 later, a fully functional remote!
Now drivers door does not unlock, this also affects fuel flap. Press unlock on remote - boot, nsf, nsr, osr doors all open. Have to use key to unlock it, which still doesn't unlock fuel flap! interior light doesn't come on when only drivers door open, computer doesn't warn drivers door open & nor does lights on buzzer work with drivers door either.
Please help!!

I think you probably need to have the GEM checked as all these issues are related

Hi,
Another possibility is a switch has failed within the door latch itself, I think the only way to check these switches is on IDS, you used to be able to initialise a self test but not any more.

It's stated that the fuel filler flap is also involved and the interior lights that are GEM controlled
