Hi there been a while since I had to post a query. Many months of trouble frre driving. Went to turn on the lights but no dash lights and front side and rear tail not coming on.Checked all fuses nothing blown. Turned on parking light option and front side and rear tail light up no problem. All other lights work and light on oddometer works.Does any one have any suggestions or had a similar problem and know whats required to fix it.

the first thought is an internal connection in the main light switch in respect of side & tail

Hi Richard I have tried a different light switch unit from a local dismantler but the problem still exists. The dismantler suggested it may be the fuse tray in the passenger footwell. Any one got any ideas?.
David.

David
If you'd like to PM me an external email addy that I can sent attachments to I think I've worked out why
In the meantime if you like to try Fuse F49 in the footwell tray
It's a 15A fuse that ought to be 7th from the left in the middle row
That supplies the voltage to the front and rear position lights part of the lighting switch except when it is put into parking lights when the supply comes via the ignition switch provided this is switched off
