Hi,

I have just bought aC Max and notice the CDDJ button. I have read varius posts regarding this and that you cant connect an ipod. However, can you connect a cd changer and if so, where do you get the CD Changers and how much?

Thanks

The CD changer was an extra to some of the spec and was fitted under the passenger (UK) seat so probably start with Fraud as there will be an extra piece of wiring as well

You could also try here
http://www.dension.com/index.php?pageID=274
they do cables that allow an MP3 connection to the CDDJ model ( made to emmulate a CD player)and this can also allow an original CD changer as well

You could try Connects2

I have one of their kits (part AFOIPOD005), which was discontinued but mine works OK. They may now have an alternative, and one of the above kits is available on Amazon.co.uk for 60.

Problems are
- couple of seconds of interruption, with message "CDDJ low power"
- Occasional complete failure ("NO CDDJ"), that sometimes resolves itself when the car has been parked a while, or may need the connection to the battery to be interrupted somehow (e.g. disconnect/reconnect box behind head unit)
