Bosch SD Sat Nav 2012

Hi all, I've had my Grand C-Max for 14 months and I'm starting to find my Ford Sat Nav 2011 is missing some new roads! Has anybody updated their 2011 SD with the lastest? I don't even know if it's available. Some idea of the cost, where to find the SD card (note Ford not the Sony system) etc. Cheers, Paul.

After a lot of forum chasing
http://mapsby.tomtom.com/en/shop/car...rd/focus-c-max
Is a link on the tomtom page to various map upgrades for vehicle built in navigation systems

you'll need build date as opposed to registration date to check though

I've just been to the local Ford Dealer - Latest SD Sat Quote - 235. How can Ford justify this price for the latest SD memory card?

This is why for our new car we opted not to spend 750 for the built in system and went for a TomTom 1005 Europe whichI got got 240.
Its a much better system than the one Ford fit.

I can't complain about the price of the built in sat nav as it cost 0 as a free upgrade. I've owned a TomTom for several years and I have to say I prefer the built in system including the road traffic updates even when you not using the navigation. I still use the TomTom when I switch to hire cars. My only gripe is the price of a SD update which perhaps I will only update every two years ...
