I have just bought an 06 plate C-Max Ghia and was told it had Bluetooth onboard but am not sure.

Can anyone suggest what I should be looking for? The radio menu lets me "Enable BT" which I assume is Bluetooth but I cant find any other menu options re pairing etc.

HELP?

Bob

Correct -I have two phones, an iPhone and a cheap Nokia.

With the ignition on and engine running, both search but find nothing.

The radio/cd is a 6000CD and according to the manual, the extended menu does say Bluetooth enable/disable so I assume that its there.

Thanks for the help.

Im not sure if your car has bluetooth fitted ?
someone on here with more experience might know
i was given great advice on here about the Ford ETIS SITE
go on it and go on to vechiles and put in your reg or chassis number
and it gives you the build spec of your car and that should mention bluetooth
if was added to the spec
Hope this helps

Thanks for that Foneman - had a look on this website and it only gives a basic id of the car with no mention of Bluetooth.

I think I may have to go down the Parrot kit line.

Cheers mate!

I also have the same year 2006 Ghia with the Bluetooth option on the Radio 6000CD. I have enabled the BT and done the search to connect the phone with no joy. I solved the problem by purchasing a Nokia hands free kit with phone holder which I fitted myself without difficulty. I have been into the TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) area of the Ford Etis web site and extracted detailed information regarding the BT. I can send a copy to you by email if you wish.
