Hi Guys,
I'm due to start working on the CAN network in my car. Sniffing data packets and then sending them when I need to, to make my car 'do stuff'.
Would anyone be interested in a module that would auto lock the doors when the vehicle moves? Some of the old Foci had it as a anti-car jacking feature and I know some missed it. Useful as well if you'revulnerableperson driving alone as you won't have toconsciouslylock the door.
The installation would be a module that plugs into the diagnostic port on your vehicle (to the right of the steering wheel) and would take less than 20seconds to install and doable by anyone who can drive. Cost could potentially be 20 ish quid dependant on the connector housings.
It's still 6 odd months away but I like to have a direction and focus when tinkering. Just post if you're interested. You're not committing yourself.
