I have just bought a 1.6tdci lx on a 54plate and was told by the dealer its a 109bhp engine. Is this correct and whether its one or the other how can you tell which is which i gather one is a VV turbo and one is a fixed vane unit.

Easiest route is to call Ford and quote reg no. Or use a webservice like my car check which gives date of reg, engine size, power etc based on reg no.

Just seen my car check now only gives make and model, but if you're happy to post your reg no I'll check the power for you.
