I`ve just been reading some posts & they are saying the ved for the 2.0tdci is 165.I only paid 170 for my 4.0 V8 RangeRover Classic.

I retaxed my 2.0tdci in Jan & it was 125.Has /When did it do up by so much?
Surely someone has misread their form as I don`t believe it could/would have gone up by 40,if so there would have been one **** of a stink put up by the press,AA,RAC etc....

The mk1 is in a lower tax bracket as it has lower emissions, it's currently 130.

Just done a random search on Autotrader site & found an 09 2.0tdci with co2 of 149.It`s not just the mk1 thats below 150.Also been through back issues of Top Gear mag & everyone quotes the 2.0tdci as 149.
Seems DVLA has got it`s wire mixed up somewhere.
Doris,I was not giving you grief,I was trying to help cos you were paying too much.

The emissions figure should be printed in the registration document.

Looks like the mk1 is dependent on euro3 or euro4 emissions. Not quite sure what the **** happened with the mk2.
If you want confirmation, check your reg doc, mine says 148 for mine.

With a few calls and looking at Autotrader it seems that some 2.0 TDCI are 148 g/km and others (euro 4)are 154 g/km. ****. mine is the latter. Early cars better than later ones? They changed with stage IV emissions to a higher CO2. I know we are all trying to help and me piping in with my tax rate was probably not best practice. Sorry.I,d be pleased if some one would tell us that they too are 154 g/km. Good Day to you.
