Hi ,any one tell me exactly where on the back of the engine the EGR valve is fitted.
1.6 stripdown pics hugely helpful until I get to the actual 2.0tdci engine itself.
Which bolts allow removal ?
Any Pics / diagrams would be helpful.
Thanks ,Tommo.

Hi, welcome to the Club!
The 2.0Tdci's Egr valveis tucked right down the back, removal of scuttle is a must, no specialist tools needed, Allen keys hold it on to the Cooler, there is a 3-4mm allen bolt secures it from underneath, can only just be seen from underneath, or felt by hand from above, only needs lossening as it slides out towards rear.andtwo 8mm bolts hold it onto Block
I may of forgotten some info, but it's been 3yrs+ since I last done one!
If you are replacing the Valve with a new one, you'll need a Ford Garage to update Cal to cycle Valve once engine stops, thus preventing further problems.
Good luck!
