happily drove mine for two years,lately looking for fuel economy,didnt rev or thrash it,but now the egr valve seems to have packed in!
the car has only done 32,00 miles,is this a common fault,or am i just unlucky?

EGR valve on the 1.6 TDCI is not a common fault
What are the symptoms please?

black smoke,wont rev from cold,and hesitancy on driving

Is there a noticable increase in induction noise?
