Ours gets called dumpling on occasion. Doesn't seem to have any reason, just seemed to take over from Max which is the name it originally had!
I occasionally call it a damned bar steward, or something similar when it throws one of it's hissy fits!
To be honest, it's not a car with a proper soul like Italian cars seem to have, so generally gets called it in our house. All our previous Italians had fitting names. Most of our cars have a name from their plates. Had an Audi with a plate which read VX51CKY so was called Vicky for obvious reasons!
All of my cars have been called Ethel after a Monty Python sketch called Ethel the Frog .When I first started driving I used to buy jumoing petrol , well my car jumped , could be a lack of clutch control
Carrie.....my wife names all our cars. Nearly always a girl's name.
so
C for Cmax
Carrie for carry....what it's for
The last car was a VW Tiguan called Chelsea....after Chelsea Tractors
Not very imaginative I know, but I call mine "Henry" (Ford). Confuses the hell out of the Missus though, cos the lad's called Henry as well! LOL! He has a Citroen, so....it's called "Andre"
