LED Sidelamp bulbs

Some of you may recall that I posted some time ago that I had replaced the standard sidelamp bulbs with LEDs. I stress now that they were NOT the CREE ones advertised on Ebay but looked exactly like them. They were advertised as having a 40,000 hour life when I bought and fitted them last August, but have now failed already! They had the Canbus compatible resistors fitted inside the body and actually performed quite well at the beginning. I have searched for the listing but have been unable to find it.
The original sidelamp bulbs are now in the footwell lamp holders and still working perfectly!

The CREE ones may be found here for reference.
