Interesting article in Mailonline

Talks about comparisons with diesel and petrol engine vehicles. What they miss out in the article though is the fact diesel cars costs more to maintain.

Great diesel myth: They DON'T save you money and petrol models 'are more economical for most makes of car' | Mail Online

This is taking in to account brand new cars only. I'd be interested to see what they say about older ones. Compared to the 1.8 Veccy I had previously this is literally doing double to the gallon round town. Should go up a bit more now the DMF and clutch are sparkling new and not slipping constantly while shaking me like a British Nanny.

I dare not work out the running cost of my car or I would die. If I'm feeling massichistic one day I might have a go.
