Just thought I`d let you all know,I`m off on my travels again.
First I`m going toGoodwood ,leave 1st thing in the morning & get back Monday nite.
Then on Weds I leave for the British GP at Silverstone & I`ll be back the following Monday nite.
Hotelsfor both events has been sorted & have again been trusted with the Bentley that I took over to LeMans a couple of weeks ago.
Can`t wait to meet up with old friends again at both events but especially Goodwood where there`s a very good chance of getting my hands very dirty.
Hopefully I`ll be able to put up a couple of posts while I`m away but if not I`ll catch up when I get home.
MM

Well we have had a brilliant day,so many wonderful cars to see & ogle at.
Watching them go up the hill was unbelievable, the fantastic noise some of the cars make is unreal. The V8`s,V10`s,V12`s,V16`s made the ground shake & made me wish I could have a go in ALL of them.
Will be driven up the Hill tomorrow but as yet I don`t know what in.
Off to dinner (again) then another walk about.
More tomorrow if I can.

What a day,got driven in new gull wing AMG Merc,Aston race car,Jag 75 & Maserati GT.
Best car to see/hear was the McClaren CanAm car with it`s stonking V8,sounded like thunder and it made the ground shake with it`s sheer power.
Can`t wait till Sunday morning to see what is around .

Got home about an hour ago, absolutely shattered & I think I`ve overdone it as I keep getting spasms in my tum (where I`ve had 3 big ops recently) so I have had to make an appointment to see my insultant on Weds.If he says it`s nothing then I`ll be heading off to Silverstone on Thursday. If not I`ll be grounded (very good chance) & won`t be going anywjere for at least a week.
Here`s to him giving me the all clear, although I feel "fragile" at the moment & am going to have a lie down, and,NO,it isn`t the result of too much falling down liquid.

Mate we are both in the wars, though mine is "minor" compared to you. Done my back in again. Wasn't even doing naughty when it happened!
Thank god the my pc chair has proper lumber support and the fact I have one very supportive, caring and downright wonderful wife.

Just had a rest & some dinner & I feel better although,I`m still getting the spasms.

Sorry to hear you have done your back in Steve,I suppose that`s what you get when you play with the kids Wii after they have gone to bed.

I`d love to pass the tickets onto you Gepard, but I will crawl over broken glass to get there myself.
