I have to say that my car buying experience yesterday was one of the best ever in over 35 years of driving .I went to Car People in Sheffield after recommendation from a friend .They are very friendly and leave you to look for yourself unless you ask for help .I visited 3 times before buying as I was trying to work out a price and a car to suit me .I went there yesterday to buy the C-Max and even the paying money out was enjoyable (even for a Yorkshireman)
They are doing the final valet before I pick up on Tuesday and are treating it inside and out for 139 as opposed to Ford wanting nearly 300 .This treatment means all it will need is a hose down , no waxing

These kits are little more than a dealer profit riser.I used to work in the trade and the reps selling them do on the basis they are easy money maker. Its just a resin based polish i have tried diamond brite and supaguard and would suggest if you really want you car to shine use meguiars and or autoglym and reguarly wash your vehicle using the correct method. Also they only offer a limted protection if apply properly for the correct amount time, not left to bake onto a car in the sun etc.I have seen a merc 03 amgwith this kit that lasted quite well as it was ut on well.I have also seen the other halfs mums cmax 08 1.6 tdci zetec and that was not even put on the whole car.It was slapped on polished off didnt bother to apply it below the door strips on on the bottom of the tailgate. So whether you pay 300rrp or 139 if the valeter hasn't preped the paint and let it set up in roofed valet bay at a sensible temp it was a waste of time. Also the garages are offered training to apply but only proper valet companies bother with it, so for 139 chances are they won't spend the time necessary.

(1.8 ZETEC)

To the average driver \'safe\' is not having accidents. To an advanced driver \'safe\' is not being vunerable to an accident.
