Anyone got the AA Parts and Garage cover?
Just curious, I've just taken it out because I've lost my rag with the TDCi. Today's "Little" problem was a cracked fuel return pipe, that dumped about 3 pints of fuel over the top of the engine. £70 in parts later it's working fine, but with the EGR being on the way out, and the starter motor being rather weak too I figured it was worth the £86 extra!
I figure £86 for the year, and £35 per claim seems reasonable. I can't seem uch else going wrong that's over £500 to fix!
Anyone experienced any issues? or even used it and found it to be pretty good? I was going to go warranty direct, but they seem to favor Halfrauds, and I wouldn't trust them to put air in my tyres.

I have a Warranty direct policy. They told me that the choice of repairer was up to me as long as it didn't cost more than a main dealer! It cost me £525 for 25 months and is a screaming bargain when I consider the level of cover I have.
As they say, "Horses for Courses"

Fair enough, the garage I normally use is AA approved, but they've stopped dealing with warranty direct!
i figure that anything over £500 is pretty much a scrap car anyway. they'll be paying put on the EGR when that goes (cleaning seems to have worked kind of), and the starter wasn't replaced when the DFM was done!
