Hi guys recently purchased a 2nd hand C-Max Zetec and so far the car has been fantastic apart from one little issue. There appears to be a little squeaking sound coming from the steering wheel /centre console/dash/passenger side area...I can't quite pinpoint it. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas what this could be & cures for it?? Apart from that loving being a C-Max owner!

Also forgot to mention seems to happen more when cornering or going over rough road surfaces.

Has the stereo been out at all?If so some of the wiring behind may at fault.Another cause could be the dash top glove box.I have stuck a few 1cm squares of bike inner tube along it`s edges & all squeaks & rattles have disappeared.

Thanks for the reply :-) the stereo hasn't been out but I will try the dash top glove box/inner tube trick and see if that helps!
