The plasticchannel under the front screen holds rainwater, particularly on the driver's side. It appears to be higher at the outside ends than the middle, as the ends are open.
I suppose that with it being plastic, at least it won't rust!
Centrifugal force of cornering the car, shifts the water and leaves a trail on the road behind!
