I have a 1.8 TDCi 8v 2007 C-Maxhthe big end having failed at 48,000 miles
the car has been serviced at correct times and never seen an oil light. Only one bearing is affected ave been advised it could be a manufacturing fault ie. bad conrod, bearing ect. main dealer suppier and Ford do not at this time want to know, any ideas where to go from here.

Trading standards is usually the first port of call to see whether they feel there is any chance of recompense
