2013 CMax Hybrid Front Wheel Bearing Failing

My '13 Hybrid with 86K mis. has a loud and failing wheel bearing on the front end, not sure which side. I thought it was tires, but that is 100% ruled out.
Questions: 1) are the wheel bearings on the front hub part of the hybrid drive, as includable in the 100K miles warranty on the hybrid drive?
2) Has anyone had a wheel bearing fail on a C-Max. This car has never been in an accident, nothing out of the ordinary and always tires and rotated/rebalanced on sked with Discount Tire.
3) Would it be prudent to determine which bearing is out and only replace the bearing that is out, or do both at the same time. Dealer charges $140 to diagnose, going in this coming Wed.

Obviously disappointed in a wheel bearing failing at 86K, my rock solid faith in this car going to 250K has been shaken.
Should I be looking at trading this car in at some point? How are these vehicles holding up?
