2006 Toyota Prius?? Help?!?

Does a 2006 Toyota prius require plugging it up? Or charging it?
My customers is really confused as to how they work Car Diagnostic Tools.
If they have gasoline/ electric hybrid engine, what does that mean?
And to charge it or whatever, how long do my customers need to do it? Does this mean my customers will have to stop between trips and charge it?
My customers is really confused about this car. The gad mileage is great! But my customers just don't want to have to plug it up and charge it? If you have one or know about them can you please give my customers alot of information about it. Because my customers is beyond lost.
Thank you so much!!

Life is beautiful and wonderful!
